Pupillages

For a third year, Pupillages were offered as part of the Justice First Fellowship, with one more position being provided.

The Pupil Fellow spends a year at Advocate (formerly known as The Bar Pro Bono Unit) before starting their pupillage year in chambers.

Training Contracts

Fourteen Host Organisations were chosen to host a Fellow on a Training Contract in this, the fifth year of the Fellowship. Fourteen positions were advertised, but unfortunately only twelve of these were filled.

  • committed to, and expert in, different categories of social welfare law
  • known to be innovative, effective and think creatively about their future sustainability
  • involved, in different ways, in work that is of national significance
  • registered as training establishments with the Solicitor’s Regulatory Authority
