If you would like to apply to host a Justice First Fellowship, please see our Become a Host page for more information before making an application.
All Host applicants are asked to apply by completing and submitting our online application form. It asks a range of questions including about your organisation’s previous experience, proposed approach to training and an estimate of how much funding you would need to deliver the Fellowship.
Once you have completed and submitted an application, you will receive an automated acknowledgement that your application has been received.
If you aren’t sure whether it is worthwhile making an application, please do get in touch with us to ask any questions or to request a short pre application call with one of our grants team. For our 2025 recruitment round, we are particularly interested in hearing from organisations based in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, or from the north of England.
We have one application round each year in the spring.
All applications submitted by the deadline will be considered at the same time and collectively by the LEF grants team, to arrive at a shortlist of organisations which meet our criteria.
You will hear within a month whether your application has been shortlisted.
If shortlisted, LEF staff will arrange a time to discuss your application with the key staff who will be involved in delivering the Fellowship. This will usually include a visit to your premises but may be via video call.
All shortlisted applications are submitted for consideration by our Grants, Programmes and Learning Committee.
