Host Organisation: North East Law Centre

Hannah Frost (withdrew from Fellowship)

Hannah is a Trainee Solicitor at the North East Law Centre based in Newcastle.

Hannah graduated with a first-class degree Law degree from Brunel University in 2019. After graduating, she took on a temporary administrative support position at Cafcass, before working as a caseworker with the Home Office, working on EUSS applications. Here, she noticed difficulties when applicants misunderstood the application questions or were unsure of the evidence needed. This sparked an interest in supporting those making immigration applications to reduce delays caused by these difficulties. She also volunteered at a Mental Health café, highlighting the mental health services in Portsmouth, and giving people an opportunity to socialise and attend self-help workshops.

In 2020 Hannah started the LPC MSc with the University of Law and graduated in 2021. During this time, she completed Vacation Schemes and worked with All About Law as a Virtual Events Assistant. Gaining exposure to a wide variety of law confirmed a passion for Social Welfare Law, wanting to assist the more vulnerable and those unable to afford legal advice.
